V.Med - Clen 40 mcg

Type:
A beta‑2 agonist stimulant—not an anabolic steroid.

How It Works:

  • Targets beta‑2 adrenoreceptors, primarily in fat tissue, to trigger lipolysis (fat breakdown).

  • Originally developed as a bronchodilator for asthma; still used in Europe, while North America mostly uses albuterol.

Uses:

  • Commonly used for cutting and fat loss, especially before competition.

  • Ineffective for preventing fat gain during bulking if calorie intake remains high.

Dosage & Protocol:

  • Asthma/medical use: 20–40 mcg/day

  • Fat loss dosage: 120–160 mcg/day (men), 80–100 mcg/day (women)

  • Ramp-up method: Start at 40 mcg, increase by 20 mcg every few days

  • Cycle: Typical “on-off” protocol is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, or 8 weeks with Ketotifen every other week

  • Half-life: ~36–48 hours; take once daily in the morning to avoid insomnia

Side Effects & Risks:

  • Common stimulant effects: Tremors, insomnia, sweating, increased heart rate, blood pressure, headaches, nausea

  • Muscle cramps: Caused by taurine depletion—can be mitigated with 2.5–5 g/day of taurine

  • Cardiovascular strain: Risks include cardiac hypertrophy, myocardial ischemia, and myotoxicity, especially at high doses

  • Downregulation: Beta‑2 receptors quickly become less responsive—needs off‑cycles or Ketotifen to reset

Key Takeaway:

Clenbuterol is a powerful fat‑loss tool when used correctly, but its stimulant nature and cardiac risks mean it must be used cautiously. Always cycle responsibly and be aware of your cardio health.
